Had ordered food for the first time today, the driver had called that he was driving now. Everything was well coordinated, the food was warm. The dishes were individually packaged very well. Everything tasted super good and very rich. The schnitzel was the size of a small pizza. Again and again 👍

We were there on Saturday. The food tasted good and the staff was very friendly. We had ordered two mushroom schnitzel, but unfortunately forgot to say that we both don't eat pork. The service was very accommodating and immediately exchanged the schnitzel for us. Always my pleasure!

We were guests on September 20, 2020 as a married couple with two small children. As a starter there was Kochkäs with bread, as a main course the Kochkäs Schnitzel with French fries and side salad, the Mediterranean salad, for the children pizza and French fries. The food was really good. The bread fresh and crispy, the cooked cheese spicy and tasty. The schnitzel is huge and served in a cast iron pan. The Mediterranean salad was lavish and delicate, refined with sautéed zucchini and cherry tomatoes. The pizza was crispy, thin and richly topped. The only thing I missed on the side salad was something like cucumber or tomato - but the dressing was so good that it didn't matter. In the nicest September weather we could enjoy the ambience of the market square outside. The excellent food was rounded off by the excellent service. The ladies were always present without being intrusive. We never sat in front of an empty glass, and the friendliness of the wait staff is what some of the competition can learn from. In short: the visit to the Golden Crown was the icing on the cake of our short vacation in the Odenwald. Thanks to the cooks and service staff!

Great thing with online ordering and paying with PayPal. Delivered to the point, you can see exactly when the food is there. Everything possible without contact in the somewhat difficult time. Were in the crown for the first time today and we are absolutely thrilled. Service was extremely friendly, the boss greeted us personally and we ate very tasty. The restaurant can be highly recommended. The whole place is extremely neat and clean. But you have to reserve, even today on a Wednesday it was completely full. Gladly again and again.

Lovely service and excellent food. Funny staff and short wait.

Delicious freshly prepared food in the middle of Groß Umstadt on the market square. Can only praise the kitchen and the nice waitresses for each visit. Suitable for closed groups in separate indoor areas, but also well suited for spontaneous visits. When the weather is nice, lots of screened seating directly on the beautiful market square.

Food was very delicious (I'm vegetarian btw.)

An open piazza with cafes & restaurants. Good place to sit out in the evening to sip a glass of sth in the final hour of daylight.
